What`s the best way to fill a saddle for re-slotting?I was thinking slow setting epoxy mixed with fine sawdust .Kind of like when inlay gets glued in.Sorry I haven`t posted for a while I`ve been real busy with running my construction company.I`m the guy who was building the baby crib to take to my daughter in Ann Arbor.Well the baby`s been born and I`m probably going to get there in late January or in February. So eventually I`m hoping to meet Hesh and if i`m lucky play one of his beautiful guitars. |

I just cut a piece of wood that mathces the slot, in ebony or rosewood if you match the grain it can be virtually invisible. Today I might try and use a piece of turkey or pumpkin pie, sometimes grain matching is irrelavant ![]() Evan |

Just eat the turkey and pumpkin pie and forget about work Evan. You desirve it ![]() I would have said the same as Evan, make a filler piece from the same material, you can fill any small voids with dust and CA. Than you can re-route the new slot. |
